2010 Mansory Porsche Panamera Power Pack

MANSORY Switzerland devotes itself to the Porsche Panamera Turbo. The specialist for fine-tuning Porsche vehicles turns the Zuffenhausen Gran Turismo into a hot-blooded power pack with a 690 HP, a max. torque of 800 Nm and a spectacular body design.

Perfectly matching components turn the front section of the MANSORY modification into a dynamic highlight: the new front skirt with adapted LED daytime running lights in combination with the striking bonnet made of carbon fibre give the front section a distinctive character. Masculine broadenings for the wings and doors perfectly harmonise with the new side skirts. At the back of this four-door-car, an enormous carbon diffuser and the centrally located double end pipes of the sports exhaust system render a thrilling atmosphere. MANSORY decorates the originally hydraulic rear with carbon applications or entirely replaces it with a static wing profile made of carbon. The engineers produce the new aerodynamics components in high-strength polyurethane (PU-RIM) and Prepreg-Autoclav-Carbon, the characteristic material for MANSORY.

In addition to the exciting look, the MANSORY engine department developed a powerful performance enhancement for the 4.8 litre turbo engine. The power pack contains an amended engine electronics, larger turbo chargers and a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Thanks to these modifications, the engine output rises to an astonishing 690 hp / 507 kW (serial: 500 hp / 368 kW) and pushes the torque to 800 Nm at 4800 r.p.m. Therefore, the 4WD-automobile accelerates from 0 to 100 km/ in only four seconds and achieves a top speed of 328 km/h (serial: 303 km/h).

The wheel-tyre combination has been especially designed for Porsche and renders sufficient grip: The latest development and highlight in the offered rim programme is an especially light 22-inch forged wheel in turbine design. At the front axle, the 9 inch wide wheels carry the high performance wheels Dunlop SP SportMaxx in the dimension 265/30ZR22 while the rear 10-inch wide wheels are equipped with tyres measuring 295/25ZR22.

In order to provide the driver directly with the experience of an automobile refined by MANSORY, the engineers included extensive refinements. A widespread leather interior can be individually matched with the most precious woods, finest varnish or dynamic carbon. The pedals made of brushed aluminium perfect the interior equipment. 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS with Video

The time: seven minutes, 18 seconds on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The power: 620 hp. The weight: 1,370 kilograms or 3,021 lb in road trim with all fluids on board. The car: the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The GT2 RS is making its world debut at the Moscow Auto Show on August 25th.

The future top GT model marking the absolute climax in the 911 range is the fastest and most powerful road-going sports car ever built in the history of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart. With power up by 90 hp and weight down by 70 kilograms or 154 lb in comparison with the 911 GT2, the new 911 GT2 RS has a power-to-weight ratio of just 2.21 kilos or 4.9 lb per horsepower, by far the best power/weight ratio in its class. Obviously, these are the ideal ingredients for an ultra-high-performance sports car with supreme agility, truly blistering performance on the road, and of course exemplary Porsche Intelligent Performance. For despite this extra power and performance, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions versus the 911 GT2 are down by approximately 5 per cent to 11.9 ltr/100 km (equal to 23.7 mpg imp) and 284 g/km.

The 3.6 litre six-cylinder boxer engine boosted by two turbochargers with variable turbine geometry exclusive to Porsche in its combination with a gasoline engine drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Developed especially for the 911 GT2 RS, sports tyres measuring 325/30 ZR 19 convert this massive power into equally massive performance and acceleration on the road: 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in just 9.8 seconds, and 0 to 300 km/h in 28.9 seconds. Top speed is 330 km/h.

Equally supreme stopping power on this ultra-high-performance sports car comes from PCCB composite ceramic brakes. Appropriate longitudinal and crosswise dynamics are ensured by the sporting RS set-up of the springs, PASM Porsche Adaptive Suspension Management, anti-roll bars, as well as the dynamic engine mounts and PSM Porsche Stability Management.

In its looks the new 911 GT2 RS stands out clearly from the 911 GT2 above all through the lavish use of carbon-fibre-reinforced (CFR) components in matt-black surface finish, even wider wheels and flared wheel arches at the front, new 911 GT2 light-alloy wheels with central locking, as well as ”GT2 RS“ model designations on the doors and rear lid. TechArt’s 2010 Porsche Panamera

“Personality knows no compromise – this is our understanding of high-quality automobile finishing. We implement this one-to-one with the Panamera and in the process combine well-trained aesthetics with discrete elegance,” emphasizes Thomas Behringer, CEO of TECHART Automobil GmbH. The program for the Porsche Panamera Turbo was shown at the IAA 2009.

The completely newly developed Aerokit I was manufactured from PUR-RIM and it optimizes the driving characteristics specifically at high speeds. The three-part Front Spoiler I has integrated brake air ducting and reduces the lift on the front axle with better cooling of the brakes at the same time. The side skirts steady the airflow under the vehicle and form dynamic contours in the side view. The new Rear Spoiler I and a rear diffusor support driving stability, and together with the dual oval tailpipes made of stainless steel with the TECHART engraving, they emphasize the consistent design at the rear.

Transmission of power to the road is the job of a choice of elegant 21-inch TECHART Formula or sporty 22-inch TECHART Formula II light-metal wheels. For the necessary road holding, TECHART recommends Conti Sport Contact 3 tires or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.

TECHART has a multifunctional daytime running lights system ready for the Panamera Turbo. The LED system unit combines daytime running lights, blinkers, sidelights, and parking lights in one housing – in a choice of chrome or black – that slips seamlessly into the front design of the Panamera. The system has automatic dimming of the daytime running lights when blinking as well as when the low-beam is switched on.

Interior manufacturing is one of the key competences of the Leonberg Porsche tuning specialist. For the market launch of the program for the Panamera, TECHART is presenting exclusive two-colour leather finishing in teak and black. Decorative stitching with matching thread, a roof liner in the same coloured Alcantara, details such as interior colour-matched handles and foot mats with leather edging in the colour teak give rise to extensive personalization. A TECHART sport steering wheel as well as dials with the interior colour complete the sporty and elegant line. A new TECHART exotic wood variation is being used for the first time in the Panamera. The prized ash veneer with a tactile grain decorates the doors, the dashboard and center console.

The TECHART program for Porsche Panamera S, 4S and Turbo will be available in December 2009. More individualization options as well as technical features will follow at the beginning of 2010.

TopCar Redefines the Porsche Panamera with Stingray Kit

 

The Russian Tuner TopCar has released photos of the sleek carbon fiber aerodynamic “Stingray” kit. The carbon fiber aerodynamic package includes redesigned front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a fixed rear wing and a new bonnet with air vents. The kit is completed by a new set of alloy wheels.

It is reported that it will make its debut Essen Motor Show in November.
